I Have a mold, which information do I need to provide for a production quote?
If you already have a mold and need a quote for parts production we will need the following information:- Age of tool and number of cycles (or shots) already performed if known
- Number of cavities
- Tool overall size (W x L x H)
- Tool material
- Material Type and Grade used for part production
- Cycle time
- Part weight and Shot weight
- Type of runner and gate
- Size of machine on which the tool has been run before, if known
- Plastic Part specifications (Drawings)
- Tool drawings and pictures if available
- Specify if the tool runs in fully automatic or if it requires an operator
- Packaging requirements for the parts
