Since 1991The perfect solution for tight budgets or new business

If you are starting up a new business, need to launch your product but cannot afford the investment  of a full prototype mold, or full production tooling, the UNIVERSAL MOLD ASSEMBLY may be the right solution for you.

It allows you to buy only the A and B side of the mold ( in blue on the picture), which is the actual core and cavity that forms your part.

The rest of the mold components  (red in the picture)  are standard components already manufactured at Accurate and interchangeable between several different molds and machines.

Ask us if your part could be molded with this technology and we will be happy to evaluate its application.

and mid size parts1) ACCURATE Universal Mold Assembly2) MUD (Master Unit Die) Technology

We offer you several solutions to better fit your budget and your requirements.

If you are looking for a prototype mold that is at the same time cost competitive and can produce high quality parts we can offer you three different choices.

With this technology we take advantage of components that are  commercially available which allow more freedom of design.

Accurate successfully uses MUD molds for several of its customers.

The concept is to share components that are common to different molds for a considerable cost saving.

This technology also reduces set up time for production, with considerable  savings of time and costs.

3) China Grade Tools

Our partnership with overseas toolmakers and molders allows us to offer  a unique and very cost   effective solution to our customers.

During the design phase of your parts, tools are developed under our supervision and manufactured in China .

Once the tool is ready  the prototype parts are molded in China and then shipped directly to the customer.

These  prototype molds remain in China and thus the cost of shipping the mold is saved.

The lead time for the prototypes is very short (in some situations as low as  two weeks from order), which allows for a fast product testing and approval.
