Second and Third Shift Operators

We are seeking  skilled and reliable Injection Molding Operators to join our second and third shift teams. As an Injection Molding Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. The successful candidate will have previous experience in manufacturing environment, is confortable with machinery operation, and quality control procedures. This position requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate and monitor injection molding machines during production runs on the third shift.
  2. Load raw materials into the machine, and adjust machine settings for optimal production output.
  3. Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and company standards.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production, such as equipment malfunctions or material inconsistencies.
  5. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  6. Maintain accurate production records, including machine logs, inspection reports, and production counts.
  7. Assist in mold changeovers and machine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing machine components.
  8. Collaborate with the production team to optimize productivity, minimize downtime, and achieve production targets.
  9. Participate in training programs and stay updated on new injection molding techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Previous experience as an Injection Molding Operator or in a similar role is highly preferred.
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to detect and resolve quality issues.
  5. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to address machine malfunctions or process deviations.
  6. Proficient in using measurement tools and performing quality control checks.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  8. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  9. Flexibility to work third shift hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
